There are evil forces In this book that cause Kensie to do some bad things but I did not think anything was too scary and it should be okay for young adults to read. This is probably going to sound bad but I honestly really wanted to know more about the Dark Sorcerer. There was just something about his character that really interested me.
Caleb and Kenzie really go through a lot in this book from “Zombies” and other things that keep trying to stop them from putting the “treasure” back where it belongs.. I do not know if I would call this book scary but it definitely grabbed me from the start and I could not put it down. I also love fantasy novels, especially dark fantasy so this book I have to say even though I am usually not a huge fan of young adult books, I thought the way this author wrote this story and these characters was amazing and I ended up really liking this book!
I would recommend this book to those who love a really good fantasy novel that has witchcraft, a dark sorcerer, that for me at least you end up wanting to know so much more about and a little bit of horror too!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher for a honest review!
